Overview of the Exhibited Works

We exhibited three works of digital art. One by a kindergarten student from “Stem Club,” a programming class for young children, one by a student from “Programming Kids,” a programming class for elementary school students, and one by a student from “Code of Genius,” a programming class for junior high and high school students.

“Mother Nature, IT and Us Living the Future” (work by a preschooler)

Sutemu Club provides programming education curriculum for young children to kindergartens, certified childcare centers, and nursery schools. This time, we exhibited the works of 29 students from Meisho Kindergarten, who have been learning with our program, as “Sutemu Club Meisho Kindergarten.”
Surrounded by the great outdoors in Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Meisho Kindergarten enjoys the richness of nature, while at the same time studying cutting-edge programming every week. Nature, ICT (Information and Communication Technology), and friends. In this collaborative work, we sought to find the true richness and happiness for the future.

“Dreams, Hopes, and the Future Expanding with IT” (work by elementary school students)

A total of 10 students from Ikejiri-Ohashi Elementary, Mizonokuchi Elementary, and Mirai Kids Bodai Elementary created works through Programming Kids.
While ICT is rapidly developing, the ego in children is only about to awaken in elementary school.
Deep down, they want to stay the same, but at the same time they are struggling to keep up with the changes.
This is a collaborative work in which they tried to express the emotions that waver deep inside using programming.

Four students from Code of Genius created a VR work using the programming they are learning in their classes.
This is a joint work of the students who attend Code of Genius, a programming class for junior high and high school students.
While learning programming, they seriously thought about how to use programming to create world peace.
