Developed a System for Recruiting Test Subjects for a Research Project Conducted by Tokyo Medical and Dental University
Our Company’s blockchain technology-based system was adopted as the system for recruiting test subjects for a research project (Approval No. D2021-083) at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, which was selected for the GAP Fund of the SCORE Project.
The recruitment of test subjects was conducted from February 20 to March 2.
What is the GAP Fund of the SCORE Project?
Tokyo Medical and Dental University participates as a group in the “Innovation Design Platform (IdP)” with Tokyo Institute of Technology, Keio University, and the University of Tokyo. One of the objectives of this project is to promote the start-up of ventures that aim for the global market and have a high social impact that contributes to the achievement of the SDGs, starting from the innovative technologies and ideas of the universities belonging to each platform.
Under this objective, the IdP has established the “IdP GAP Fund” and selected Professor Kazuhiro Aoki’s project to be implemented as a “research proposal to advance the brush-up of business models, prototype production, and data (experimental results, calculation results) for hypothesis testing in order to bridge the gap between research results and commercialization at research institutions toward commercialization.”
Background of the System’s Adoption
Professor Kazuhiro Aoki, head of the research project at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, and our company’s representative, Omorai, each gave a lecture at the 6th Symposium on Medicine, Creativity and World Peace.
The two agreed to work together to realize the integration of medicine and technology, and our Company was selected to be in charge of the system for this project.
